Cookie Policy

Last updated 4 July 2026

SportConsent uses only the cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep the service secure. We do not use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with third parties for marketing.

1. What cookies we set

The only cookies SportConsent sets are the session cookies that authenticate a signed-in staff member. They are essential — the dashboard cannot function without them — so no consent banner is required for them under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

CookiePurposeTypeRetention
sb-*-auth-tokenMaintains your authenticated session with Supabase Auth after sign-inStrictly necessarySession / until sign-out or expiry
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifierSecures the sign-in exchange (PKCE)Strictly necessaryCleared once sign-in completes

2. What we do not use

No Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social-media trackers or third-party marketing cookies are used anywhere in SportConsent — including on the public parental consent forms. Parents completing a consent form are not tracked.

3. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Because our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from signing in and using the dashboard. Public consent form pages do not require cookies to be viewed or submitted.

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
